It is a pleasure to be taught by Mr. Falizah and having such interactive lessons with all you fellow classmates through this semester. Many things have been taught, and I have been better equipped with skills on interpersonal communications; whether is it written, verbal and non-verbal. What I have learnt have really propelled me further into my preparation for the workforce in the near future. Now, I know how to write a proper application letter, and an impressive resume that would attract the attention of my prospective employer. I've also learnt how to perform during an interview, and all these are exceptionally essential for soon-to-be graduates like me. Working on a project with a team also allowed me to practice team work. I’ve also learnt how to organise our proposal neatly for ease of reference (wiki and minutes writing).
This module offered many take-away as I've recognised the many mistakes I committed in communicating with others. Clarity is one major aspect I've learnt to improve on, as many miscommunications happen due to the lack of information communicated. Through this course, I also understood more about other cultures, how they behave and how they express themselves which allowed me to be more understanding of their differing behaviours.
All in all, every lesson was very insightful and I managed to learn something new and useful each time. The biggest take-away in my opinion, is therefore the many great relationships fostered throughout every activity we have, from blogging, to peer-teaching, to presentations. This module, more than just teaching communications, allowed us to communicate with each other more than any other module, giving us many opportunities for us to practice what we’ve learnt. A big 'Thank You!' to everyone for making ES2007S such an enjoyable module! I believe we have all completed this course being better communicators!

reflection on oral presentation
Our proposal was almost done, and what's left was just this oral presentation. We spilt the content into sections and prepared individually to start it off. afterwhich, when we collated the slides and tried practicing together.
During the first time we practiced together, we encountered various difficulties as we were not well-prepared and the slides were not perfected with animations. When we know that we were far from ready and the presentation date was near, we knew we had to step it up. We gave advices to make each other's presentation better and cohesive, and went back on our own to perfect it. We also practised the timing of the slides, so that the 'clicker' coincidences with the presenter to ensure a smooth presentation. We also reviewed what are the possible questions they might ask and prepared ourselves to answer those questions.
All in all, I think our group did very well in our presentation, and I felt it was very compelling with a powerful introduction and ending. Our content was very covered and our team was very well prepared to answer all the questions posted. I think one reason why we could handle the bombardments of questions was they we were all very clear and convinced by our proposal, and because of that, it was easy for us stand on our proposal's side to defend it.
I really enjoyed working in this team, and I think we've worked really well together. Kudos to Team TRESS! (:
